Trubilt Auto Body was founded in 1949. It began as a small shop with only two repair stalls, but was quickly established as one of the finest shops in the Chippewa Valley. In 1997 Lynn and Jerry Salter purchased Trubilt Auto Body. The shop is now one of the largest and most reputable in northwestern Wisconsin. We staff, on average, 20 employees while offering 21 repair stalls, two prep booths, one cut-in-booth and one state of the art paint booth. In the fall of 2010 Trubilt Auto Body changed to Trubilt Collision Center and with that came a new logo. While the logo and look of our name may have changed, the Salters are very committed to maintaining the reputation of top-notch service, quality repairs and great customer relations; this is why Trubilt has been the choice of the Chippewa Valley for over 60 years. Then, in the fall of 2018, Trubilt Collision Center expanded its brand to the growing city of Altoona, Wisconsin.

I was taken care of as soon as I stepped into the door. This was my first collision repair and I wasn't sure of how everything worked. I dropped off my car and they handled the rest! I was always kept in the loop and my car turned out great.

Told it would take 1 day and the estimate was $948. Took over a week because estimator didn’t bother check under the car for possible damage and finally cost was almost $2300

This was the best experience I have had with a repair center. I was kept in constant contact about the status of my vehicle, the staff was friendly and efficient, and everything was done very professionally. I love all of the little extras that you guys do - from the beverages in your waiting area, to the "detailing for life", to providing a loaner vehicle. Thank you!

We loved the new bumper but our insurance is going to go ballistic about the updated charges for this repair. Hope we should have filed a police report. The total repairs from this accident hitting the railroad tracks are now over $3 grand.
