In 1969 Turnpike Motors Autobody was opened in Newington, Connecticut by Doug Fernandez, Sr. Since opening, our company has grown from five employees to 32 and from 7 bays to 36 bays. Our facility features modern high-tech equipment, a highly trained staff, and a clean, customer friendly environment. In addition to the outstanding quality of work, throughout the repair process I was kept updated via both phone calls and text messages. Furthermore, upon receiving my vehicle I noticed some damage to the vehicle that was not there when brought to the shop. Without hesitation, I was informed that they would make it a priority to fix the damage. I was even provided with a rental car at no cost to me. My only suggestion is that prior to customers picking up their vehicles I’d take the time to look over both the exterior and interior of the vehicles and also detail them. This used to be done in past 25-30 years that I have brought my vehicles to Turnpike Motors for any necessary repairs.
