This shop was recommended to me by several friends and colleagues with high end vehicles, and even another shop. They all praised the quality of work and their happiness with the outcome. After the few issues I have after receiving my car, unfortunately I cannot say the same as my peers.

There is a broken plastic tab in the trunk, I do not believe it was broken before. I was told the area in which the tab is located, was not touched. If it was broken before, it was broken in the accident and should have been repaired. The lower plastic trim piece at the entrance to the trunk is not seated all the way down. this bulge/bump causes the trunk to open sporadically right after it's closed. I was told this bulge/bump is normal and happens over time. Again, I do not believe it was like this before I dropped it off. However, if it was, then the damage was caused in the accident and should have been repaired with everything else. There are what appear to be dirty/greasy fingerprints on the rear bumper that do not come off after wiping with a microfiber. They may come off with degreaser but was told to wait 60 days before using it, as to not compromise the paint. I will have to wait these two months and hope that these dirty smudges do not get permanently baked into the paint or clear coat. After the accident, all I found was a small scratch and dent in the rear bumper cover, I cannot vouch for any other damage. From my perspective I received the car back with more issues that I dropped it off with.

The employees that helped me were friendly kind and courteous. However, I would have liked better answers to my concerns when I voiced them. My concerns were immediately brushed off as something that they could not have done, and that it was like that before, or normal to happen.

Visual effects is an excellent auto body repair shop. they have excellent customer service, and relatively the most reasonable priced body repair shops around the area. I’ve used them several times and every single time the work comes out phenomenal looking like brand new. What highly recommend them if you have/need any auto bodywork
