I bought my 2020 Kia Forte brand new from the San Bernardino Kia dealership. My car currently Only has 36,700 miles. I only take my car to the dealer to be serviced when needed. My car is still under warranty. So my car is in PERFECT condition. It only went to Wyatt's due to some minor accident cosmetic work, Nothing mechanical was wrong or needed. When i went to pick up my vehicle, one of the mechanics that worked on my car told me that i needed a new battery quickly due to having it over 3 years. When I attempted to drive off the property, my car died before I even drove 3 feet. My battery was just fine when.i dropped my car off. After letting them know that my battery was just fine and having to really press them, the mechanic finally admitted that they did leave my car doors open while they were repairing the car for the week that it was in the shop and that is probably why it died and is badly drained. At 1st they only wanted to pay half of the cost for a new battery. But afyer I consistantly and very firmly let them knkw that I am Not paying any of the cost due to this being yheir fault. They fianlly agrerd to get a new battery and install it. I never seen anyone leave to go purchase a new battery and i never saw anyone come to deliver a battery. How ever my battery was replaced and my car was back to functioning properly.
