    "The cost of the initial estimate was significantly less than a following estimate that was provided and then a future cost notice increased the cost even more. This was a relative simple repair so I was surprised and disappointed at the fluctuations in cost. I went from thank god the cost is reasonable to what happened. Also, the computer trail showing original cost estimate to actual cost is not kept available and leaves customer wondering what happened. The computer trail and reasons for adjustments to costs should be part of process and made clear and apparent. I did not raise this as an issue because I just wanted the work done as quickly as possible. Also, I believe the insurance co should be responsible for reviewing costs as they have the expertise to evaluate if costs are reasonable and also bear the risk for costs exceeding the customer deductible.
