I am writing to When I initially dropped off my vehicle on March 20, it was in good mechanical condition with only cosmetic damage to the rear. However, upon attempting to pick up the car on Wednesday,, the vehicle was undriveable. It locked up immediately after leaving the lot, and the radio is no longer functioning. Although the shop indicated they performed an alignment, removed the battery, but failed to reset the vehicle is now in significantly worse condition than when it was admitted. The shop has towed the vehicle back for further inspection. I understand that an addendum to the estimate and an extension for the rental car will be required. Please be advised that I do not accept responsibility for these additional costs or repairs, as these mechanical issues did not exist prior to the shop’s services. I expect the vehicle to be returned to me in the same mechanical condition it was in at the time of drop-off. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.
