We picked up the Car(2025 Kia Soul)on Saturday 1/3/26 to take it home after the repairs. Everything seemed fine until we got on the highway to go home. Once the car reached 50 miles per hour there is a loud humming noise that gets louder with acceleration. I left a text message with Ashleigh once we were back home with the vehicle.

My car was hit and needed a new rear bumper and paint. This work was great but during the 3 weeks it took for the work to be completed my battery was quickly dying. My battery died on Christmas Eve as I was going to pick my brother up from the airport. Never had any issues with my battery, ever, it was recently replaced in 2022. Was without a car for days over the holiday and had to jump start my car, get my battery tested and ultimately replaced my battery. I couldn’t call / take to Caliber because they were closed over the weekend. In order to complete the repair my battery had to also be disconnected.

The job was to replace the rear bumper and repaint but any additional issues caused or identified during that process, like testing the battery after disconnecting and reconnecting, seemed to be overlooked. It was also when I took my car to autozone that the mechanic testing and replacing my battery pointed out a frayed wire, next to my battery, which he highly stressed to me that I get repaired ASAP. It was something he saw right away when working on the battery. I’m no car expert and I rely on the trained eyes to help inform me of issues with my car and when I picked my car up nothing was mentioned.

I thought they were fixing the entire side. It was hard to take photos of the whole side to submit. There was still a dent on the side further up. Ashley explained to me they can only work off of what was approved. I was also wandering why my door handle looked like a different color compared to the door they replaced. I was glad to see they washed the outside of the car and eeplaced a damaged hupcap. Thank you for all the updatea.
