I am very disappointed with my experience at Caliber Collision on Butler Road. From the beginning, the communication and customer service were poor. Emily, who was in charge of my claim, was not polite or helpful when I had questions or concerns. I was originally told my vehicle would be repaired in about two weeks, but it ended up taking almost four weeks. Unfortunately, the delays were only part of the problem. After I picked up my car, I discovered that the repairs had not been completed properly. I have had to bring my vehicle back multiple times to have different issues corrected, which has been extremely inconvenient and frustrating. I understand that unexpected delays can happen, but I expect honest communication, quality workmanship, and respectful customer service. Sadly, my experience did not meet those expectations, and I cannot recommend this location based on the service I received. Our “5 day repair” took 3 weeks. Once we did pick up, part of the bumper was not secured down and we asked them to please secure it, then part of the rear tailgate fell off as we drove away so we went back to have them repair that. It could have been much worse if the electrical cord had also broken and/or our speed was higher. After the second return, we tested everything before driving away again and found the tailgate was catching on the brake light casing and making a loud click. A third time to the shop was needed to secure this down. This all could have been avoided if there was QC on their repairs. I would think a manager would check everything is secure and opening well before releasing, especially when that part has been removed and replaced. If 5 days is quoted, that should include lead time for parts, not turn into 3 weeks for a family to be without their vehicle. Very disappointed in the whole experience, not to mention the lack of response from our Travelers agent, who never responded to my questions.
