Although, the fuel gauge is not working correctly, they promised to fix the problem immediately. The people they have working for them are very professional and courteous. I just wish that they had done a thorough investigation into all the repairs. Instead they piecemealed the repair process giving a new estimate each time. Slowly accumulating the repairs cost. This didn’t allow for the possibility of a payout. Yet, after all the repairs the cost is now greater than a payout percentage by law of 70% of the value of the vehicle. Also, when calculating for used parts the parts should come from a certified remanufacturer that conforms to the OEM. Used parts from a junkyard LQK or others is not a certified OEM Remanufactuer. I work in Overhaul and OEM Manufacturing and all parts must conform to OEM specifications. This is something that should be required if used parts are to be used. This becomes a safety issue as well as a quality issue. I don’t think it is much of an ask for these issues to be resolved.
