Although I know things happen, I feel they didnt take the correct steps to properly fix my car. Had the job been done correctly, my car wouldn't be a total loss.

Im sure the work done was great. My concern is that the wrong windshield was put on the vehicle. This was figured out because the car wouldn't calibrate. To take it off and replace it with the correct windshield would have went over the amount allowed so they had to total the vehicle. I was offered 2 options. 1, they pay the vehicle off and I pay the $3500 to replace the windshield to keep the car or 2, they total the vehicle and I have to buy a new car. This was no fault of mine and I feel like I got the bad end of the deal because my vehicle was almost paid off and im having to start over with a car payment.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with the repair process. When I dropped off my vehicle, I clearly communicated that the front sensor was damaged, and the representative acknowledged this and explained that the shop would determine whether there was any internal damage once the damaged parts were removed. I was initially told the repairs would take approximately one week, but at drop-off I was advised it would be closer to two weeks, which I understood; however, I specifically communicated that I would be traveling and asked to be notified as soon as possible if the completion date changed. Unfortunately, I received no proactive updates and had to repeatedly call for status updates, only to learn that the completion date had been pushed back and, on the new completion date, that the sensor/parking assist issue I had reported at drop-off had still not been resolved and would require another week of work. Overall, what was initially estimated as a one-week repair turned into approximately three weeks, with very poor communication throughout the process. I do want to recognize Josh, the manager, for providing good customer service and being helpful when I ultimately spoke with him.

Caliber Collision did a fine job through the entire process. An estimate was achieved quickly. Excellent communication keeping me informed of the repair process. Once repaired, they vacuumed and cleaned my vehicle well.

Tony and the team at Caliber Collision in Hyattsville are fantastic. They’re professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to doing quality work. They took the time to explain the repairs in a way that was easy for me (as someone who isn’t very familiar with cars) to understand, and they were always approachable and patient with my questions. As a woman, I especially appreciated that I felt respected throughout the process. I never felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or talked down to, which gave me confidence that they were looking out for my best interests.
