Overall, my experience started off great and was pretty good for the most part. If I had to point out a couple of issues, the first would be that communication over text wasn’t always responsive. There were times when my messages weren’t answered promptly, which made things a bit frustrating. Another concern was regarding an additional piece I had asked to be installed under my car. When I was notified that my car was ready, I was told the part couldn’t be installed because another piece was missing. The conversation ended there…no one offered options or asked whether I wanted to order the extra piece myself and pay the cost. It felt like the goal was simply to get me in and out quickly, rather than guide me through what my options were. I understand things may be limited by what insurance covers, but clearer communication would have helped. Regarding communication with Justin specifically: he called me two nights in a row about picking up the car. During the second conversation, I explained that I was extremely busy with work and that my manager wasn’t letting me leave early. I also mentioned that GEICO told me they would cover the rental until Friday. Right after I got off the phone with Justin, I immediately received a call and text from GEICO saying they could not extend my rental any further. I’m not saying this is necessarily connected, and it may just be a coincidence, but it did feel strange timing-wise—and if it were connected, it wouldn’t make much sense why he would do that. It just added another layer of confusion to the overall communication process. All and all , the experience wasn’t perfect, but it wasn’t a failure either. I would give it a solid 80%.
