Not happy with the time frame of the job for a door swap!

The repair estimate took a week to get done on a dent to a rear car door which is too long. In addition, I had to get in contact with the insurance provider because the Caliber Collision representative would not call me back, which goes against what the website states as their top goal of “customer satisfaction.” The repair also took long. It took Caliber Collision 2 1/2 weeks to repair the damage on the car, which went over the estimated time frame. Overall this estimate and repair took over three weeks (almost a month) to complete which is unacceptable for a door swap on a 2019 car without any major sensors. This is not what the caliber collision website states which is “Caliber Collision in Orange is driven to help you get back behind the wheel fast.”

At the beginning I had to get in contact with the insurance provider because the Caliber Collision representative would not call me back, which caused confusion with the insurance provide. It cause confusion on the length of time a rental car and how long it was needed. There has to be more communication between Caliber Collision and the insurance provider on how long the repair is going to take.

After receiving car, the repairs looked good. My wife and I did not look at the repairs thoroughly and the shop was closing for the weekend and we were in a hurry to get home. When we got home, we noticed there is still a slight dent still in the area of the repairs. We will bring it back on Monday to complete the repairs.

Somehow the calibration of the computer system was not correct. At first my rear camera was not working and now my radio has to be reset every time the car is turned off and on.
