Took 2 months and when I got it home it would not open . Took it to another body that got it open and determined the mechanism was loose and still bent because it was the old one that the just was re used .

When I called them 15 minutes after I left to tell them.it would open he talked to me like I'm stupid, telling me to turn the key a certain way like I haven't owned the truck for 5 years and opened 1000 times and proceeded to tell me " well it worked when he opened it " .

There are visible fine sanding scratches on the repaired hood under the clear coat. The position of them is consistent with finger pressure on sandpaper.
