Once again, a very minimalist approach. For as many body shops I’ve worked with in the past, I’ve always been offered to have some touch up paint at the very least applied to nicks in the paint. I wouldn’t recommend Caliber to anyone who wants anything more than bare minimum service

Caliber fixed the dents caused by hail damage, but NOT the paint that was chipped by the hail in the spots where the hail hit. In speaking with the insurance company, the paint chips were not covered due to previously being there beforehand, which I know not to be the case. In any event, body shops I’ve worked with in the past have applied light touch up paint as a courtesy at very minimal expense in the name of good customer service. When I voiced my concern to the body shop’s Manager/point of contact when picking up my vehicle, he said that they don’t cover it and told me I’d need to go buy stuff for myself. Solon Auto Body in Solon, OH is a great example of how great customer service is conducted and they called me and applied touch up paint in a similar scenario years ago. I remember them for their proactiveness and service. Because of Caliber’s very minimalist approach to service, I do NOT plan on returning in the future.

Part of the finalize product is to make sure everything was put back correctly. After getting my car back I found out that my truck space was not put back properly after reattaching the battery. It’s just the small things

The repair is good. Service was great. Turnaround time was great. My only concern at all, but it is a big concern is that my car has a very strong chemical paint smell, four days five days later. I have been leaving the windows open in my car when it’s parked in my garage trying to air it out but it is still very strong smelling when I get in the car. I’m hoping it goes away soon.

Only issue is that the car smelled like chemical/paint for weeks. I had to keep in in the garage with the windows down for weeks to get it to go away.
