Jim Guthrie, owner and first technician of Car Crafters, started a body shop in his parent’s garage as a teenager. If there is another option for the repair from the insurance company I would try a different option

The front desk will only transfer me to the agent assigned to my vehicle Chris Morah and didn’t know any details. I called 19 times trying to get a status of my vehicle over 3 weeks. I was only able to talk to my agent 4 times out of the 19 attempts. When I did talk to my agent he was very informative and helpful. I was told it would be ready 3 separate dates with confirmation emails. I took leave from work and then was notified just before close the day before it would not be ready the next day.

Didn’t call Patricia often but I can say most calls she never answered left voicemail twice and didn’t call back I will say she did answer twice the estimated pick up time was never adjusted to update date most of the updates I got from my insurance. When I went to pick up the car I would have expected her to introduce her self but instead sent someone else who was really good. The ladies at the front where good and always answered my calls and friendly.

It took a long time to get the fix done other than that everything was professional and very great. I think the main problem was accomplishing getting the Tesla parts that were needed.

Car crafters on Montaño was awesome! They not only did a great job but they did an amazing job of communicating about my cars damages, the cost, and when the car would be ready. They were very friendly and happy to answer questions. Additionally, having enterprise car rental nearby was very convenient. It’s hard to fine competent companies who are transparent and good at communication these days, car crafters is one of the exceptions. Very much recommend and will return if needed!
