I appreciate Christian doing everything he could to make it right once I brought the issues to him. However, the incidents leading up were completely unnecessary. There were multiple delays at the fault of Mike. And Mike would lie to me each time. He said all state blocked him out of the claim and instead of contacting Allstate, he waited 3 days cause he didn’t want to have to write two estimates. Turns out it was really cause he failed to write a supplement in a timely manner. He then told me the delay is a 70 year old tech had been working on my car and they’ve realized he is just too slow so they’ve put two younger techs on it now. The only delay that may have been correct (but it’s hard to believe anything he says is true) is the part initially came damaged and needed to be reordered. But I’m willing to bet that never happened. On top of it all Mike had zero communication and would never give me updates or call me back when I would call.

The only reason it is not a 1 is because Christian did his best to make things right in the end. The communication from this shop is horrible though.

The leadership team did have some changes as Classic took over from Kendrick, which I understand may have created some challenges, but I want to give an accurate timeline of my experience. When I first spoke with Allstate, they said I could come in for my repair November 4, 2025. They apparently were not synced up with Kendrick/Classic’s system, because I was not able to come in for repairs until December 4, 2025. When I dropped my truck off they initially put in as a 10-day repair. This means that Allstate paid for 10 days of rental car. On day 10, I called and asked what my vehicle status was and the parts had not yet arrived. My ready date would get pushed back week after week, each time I would have to call Allstate and let them know and then I had to call the rental car company. Very inconvenient. I got a call 1/8/26 that my license plate had been lost so I had to file a police report for stolen tag and get a new one. I was reimbursed for this cost, but had to take a day off of work to do so. This would have been fine because my vehicle was supposed to be ready 1/9/26. I got a call that afternoon stating my taillight was not working and they had to order a new one, which was surprising because my taillight was operating correctly upon arrival to the shop. This pushed my ready date back to 1/14/26 as I had to fight for the taillight to be replaced with an oem part. The shop and Allstate were sure that the aftermarket taillight would suffice, however it would not match as the aftermarket one would not have the badging on the exterior to match. I finally picked up the truck 1/14/26 and most everything looks good. The bumper seems to have one spot that is scuffed, but I don’t want to risk being out of my vehicle for so long again when my rental was a small SUV and my Truck was a full size 4x4. Upon pickup, there was one grease spot that the shop employee was able to wipe off and a loose trim piece that she double sided taped back on. I surely hope all of this is not a reflection of the change in ownership as Kendrick held a very good name in the Augusta area. Hoping for many miles and smiles with my repairs.
