My Experience

I have been waiting for my car to be fixed for one month. Today they called me and said that the car was ready and I could come pick it up. I ordered an Uber from my home and went to Crash Champions. But when I checked the car, the repair was not fully completed. When I test-drove it, I noticed a noise coming from the tire and showed it to them. Then they asked me to leave the car there again. The problem is that I had already paid $35 for the Uber to get there, and then I had to pay another $35 to return home. What upset me is that they called me before finishing the repair completely, and because of that I wasted $70 for nothing.

Good people. I was disappointed in the lack of alignment with my policy however. When I tried to talk through the response wasn’t optimal but delivered politely and with respect.

Repair Quality

Good people and very polite. I have been here before but they didn’t completely fulfill the insurance claim and I got it inconsistent feedback from my insurer on the level of engagement

Customer Service

Very polite. Just didn’t completely handle the job as outlined in my insurance parameters.

Repair was not done completely. General manager confirmed and validated our observations , repairs on dents were wavy which can be seen by naked eyes. However they agreed to correct issues when I return the car. We’ll see

My Experience

To date all appears to be in order with the repair of my vehicle, with one exception. The bright light on the driver's side comes in when activated, however the light is off the bulb appears to be defective as the lamp is not lit, as on the passengers side. Will bring the vehicle in for future assessment.

My Experience

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Crash Champions in Madison and wanted to share a fair review of my experience. On the positive side, the repair quality was excellent. The damage from a hit-and-run was completely fixed, the car was returned to me clean, and it looked as good as new. I appreciate the workmanship and attention to detail on the actual bodywork. However, the communication around timing and readiness was frustrating and impacted my schedule. I was originally told the car would be ready on Wednesday. When I called around noon that day to confirm the 4:00 p.m. pickup time listed online, I was then told it would actually be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. On Thursday, I received a call at **3:30 p.m.—just 30 minutes before the expected 4:00 p.m. pickup time—**informing me that the car would not be ready and that the new pickup day would be Friday instead. On both days I had already made plans based on the time I was given. The most important was a vet appointment Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. that I had to reschedule, because my rental agreement doesn’t allow pets in the vehicle. When I finally picked up my car on Friday, it looked great overall. But during my own inspection I noticed my aftermarket grille lighting was no longer working. After opening the hood, I realized the lights had been disconnected and not reconnected before I was told the vehicle was “100% ready” for pickup. My underglow lighting worked, but the grille lights did not. Overall, Crash Champions delivered strong repair work, but the last-minute schedule changes and missed final detail made the experience more stressful than it needed to be. I would prefer not to be told the car will be ready by a certain time until the shop is confident it actually is. With more accurate communication and a thorough final check of all components (including aftermarket items that were working when the car was dropped off), this location could provide a truly excellent customer experience.

The repair work itself was excellent and the car came back very clean. My main issue was the communication and the accuracy of the completion dates, which made the process harder than it needed to be. I also believe my snorkel lights weren’t reconnected because the job was rushed after I voiced concerns about the delays, but that’s still unacceptable. I’d recommend them based on the quality of the work, but the scheduling and attention to detail definitely need improvement.

Repair Quality

The repair quality was excellent and my car looked great when I picked it up. The main issues were with communication. On Wednesday I called at noon to verify it would be ready by 4pm, and I was told it would actually be Thursday at 4pm. Then 30 minutes before the Thursday pickup time, I got a call saying it was being pushed to Friday. I also had to reschedule a vet appointment because the rental car didn’t allow pets. In addition, my LED snorkel lights behind the bumper were not reconnected after the new bumper was installed, so I had to fix that myself. Other than these issues, the repair work itself was very well done.

Customer Service

Customer service could have been better. I had to call on Wednesday at noon to verify my pickup time, and that’s when I was told it wouldn’t be ready until Thursday. Then 30 minutes before the Thursday pickup time, I was called again and told it was being pushed to Friday. I had to reschedule a vet appointment because of the rental car policy. I’d much rather be given one solid pickup time and, if the car is finished sooner, call me then. Changing my arrangements twice was inconvenient. Good people, but the communication and follow-through need improvement.
