With more than 50 years experience in collision repair and convenient locations in Augusta, GA, Evans, GA, Martinez, GA, Thomson, GA Cushman Paint and Body is the CSRA's premier collision repair center! Founder Jimmy Cushman started his business in a two-bay collision repair shop in rural Columbia County while working as an employee at another body shop. He and a few family and friends restored old cars and painted golf cars for Club Car. Back in those days, special order colors were hand painted and the Cushman team painted thousands. With the support his wife Ann, and a nudge from family members, Jimmy quit his job, put up a big sign on Washington Road and formally opened Cushman Paint and Body in 1988. With help from sons Scott and Edward and Kenny Convington, Cushman has grown into one of Georgia's largest collision repair companies.

Everyone was so nice to work with they did a good job keeping us informed about the repair progress and were helpful in dealing with the rental car company my only issue is that there were ants inside the car when I picked it up to my knowledge we have never had this problem before thank you

The repair was excellent the only problem we had was ants crawling out of the air conditioning vents as soon as I picked up the vehicle and still crawling out from under the hood

The body work was good but i also asked them to remove adhesive both from a prior wrap and front license plate. Well when the took the adhesive off the front license plate they damaged the paint... they said it would be $900 to fix it. Wow so now they want me to pay 900 for them damaging my paint, unreal.

The only reason they get a 3 is that the paint job was great... however, i drive a tesla and they broke my chargeport cover. Wouldnt have been a big deal if they told me about it. Had to find out driving home and the cover flew open. I just had a new one installed too because someone else forced it open breaking the mechanism that opens and shuts it. I knew something was up when i went to pick it up, original quote was around $2,750 and when i got there they only charged me $2,450.

Not only the issue with my chargeport cover but when the guy was doing the quote he brought out 2 quotes... he flashed the first one and it was almost 4k! For a rear quarter panel paint with barely any body work required? But when he saw the look on my face he quickly was like "oh but this is the actual quote with the man hours discounted for 2.7k"... ya ok buddy.

Cushman did a great job with my vehicle! I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend. I did have to clean a small spot off of the inside of my door from where the mechanics was getting in and out the vehicle. HOWEVER, it was small and came out with Totally Awesome. Very, very satisfied! I will definitely be using them in the future if need be.
