With more than 50 years experience in collision repair and convenient locations in Augusta, GA, Evans, GA, Martinez, GA, Thomson, GA Cushman Paint and Body is the CSRA's premier collision repair center! Founder Jimmy Cushman started his business in a two-bay collision repair shop in rural Columbia County while working as an employee at another body shop. He and a few family and friends restored old cars and painted golf cars for Club Car. Back in those days, special order colors were hand painted and the Cushman team painted thousands. With the support his wife Ann, and a nudge from family members, Jimmy quit his job, put up a big sign on Washington Road and formally opened Cushman Paint and Body in 1988. With help from sons Scott and Edward and Kenny Convington, Cushman has grown into one of Georgia's largest collision repair companies.

Your question does not adequately assess the interactionsâ and experience at Cushman. I am satisfied with the interactions and service from the estimator and the skilled craftsmen who repaired my vehicle. I am not satisfied with the delay of repairing my vehicle nor the reception service provided. Upon entering the business doors, I was not greeted nor asked to be helped, rather ignored until I explained why I was there. Upon entering the business, I was not shown your confidence in the company or in taking care of my car by the initial reception. After I was asked my name I was then asked to complete forms I had already completed and when I explained that I was there to drop off my vehicle, at the time you scheduled, and pick up a rental vehicle for the week, I was again met with discrediting of your and Enterprise's service, thus causing me to again question my decision to contract with Cushman. Towards the end of repairs, Ashlyn called me to tell me I could pick up my car, but when I returned the call to Jan, she explained that it was not actually ready yet and would take another day to finish. Jan then personally text me when the vehicle was ready for pick-up. Those portions of the experience aside, Cushman did a great repair and Jan Brinkman was very professional in taking care of me and my beloved car.

The body work looked great. It's just when the door itself closes it sounds different, perhaps a bit unstable. Or as if it needs oil.

Would have appreciated a few more updates as things took longer than usual but I was satisfied with Cushman overall as I am not from Augusta and haven't used an auto body shop here before.
