I understand that there are supply chain issues, and that it was necessary for parts to arrive. But since my car was driveable, I'd have been willing to sign something to commit to returning to FixAuto and being responsible for the part or something, rather than have to have a rental car for 27 days, knowing my driveable car was just sitting there waiting.

My only complaint is: I had a driveable car, but had to leave it there for almost a month due to supply chain issues/waiting for parts. This cost the insurance company more money for a rental car, and inconvenience for me. I'd have been happy to sign something indicating I'd return the car when the parts came in or be responsible for the cost if I didn't or whatever. Seems crazy for the car to just sit there waiting for parts...
