Initially I first had to consent in writing to get the repair work done, so I agreed. However, when my car was ready to pick up, after the ‘repairs’, I was told that you wouldn’t be fixing the struts/front suspension because “the parts were worn and damaged prior to the accident.” FACT: to a degree perhaps that was true, BUT the car was in a front-end collision at 25-30mph so it IS a serious problem. And now, my car insurance rates will go up because I had a collision claim, BUT you only did cosmetic work!! If I had known that up front I would not have had the cosmetic work done—a scraped front bumper and broken license plate isn’t worth the increased insurance rates I’ll see—and I still have to get the front suspension/alignment fixed for $1200 out-of-pocket, in addition to the $500 car insurance deductible I had to pay. THIS WAS SHADY & VERY DISAPPOINTING from FIX AUTO!!!
