Great customer service by Dennis! He was incredibly helpful and worked with us! Had a little mishap with our windshield when it was replaced initially and had to get replaced again while in the shop and they compensated us for it which we greatly appreciated and the parts took a bit to get in but once everything was in and painted it went by fairly quick! Would definitely recommend and if anything happens again (hopefully not) we will be brining out Tesla back here!

Employees were great, friendly, keeping me up to speed on the long wait, which was ok since I had a nice rental, but now when I roll my window down it makes a clicking sound, don’t even want to call about it cuz it’ll take a whole month to get it back

Everybody I interacted with was friendly, and the woman at the front desk was especially kind and helpful. I appreciated that. I wanted to share the parts of the experience that were difficult to manage, mainly related to communication, follow-through, and planning. Estimate submission to insurance After I received the initial estimate, I was told Gerber would send it to the insurance company automatically. About a week later, I called to check and was told it had been overlooked. I called again about a week later, and it still had not been sent. On my third follow-up call, it was completed while I was on the phone. I was told there had been a computer system issue. I had to call several times to move the process forward, and I was concerned the estimate would not have been sent without those calls. Updates during the repair I was told I would receive updates every Tuesday and Thursday. I received one update on the first Thursday, then one more communication about a week later saying the repairs were done but there was a bottleneck in the paint department. After that, I did not receive further updates until I started calling again. The delay itself was not the main issue. The harder part was not having enough information to know what was happening or plan around it. Rental extension and pickup timing I was told that if the repair took longer than the insurance company’s estimate, Gerber would automatically coordinate an extension for my rental car. However, I received a text from the rental agency saying insurance would only pay for one more day. Since I had not heard anything from Gerber about my car being ready, I called to ask about the rental extension. I was told my car might be ready the next day, which was also the day my rental contract expired, and that I would receive an update. The next day, I did not hear anything, so I called around noon. I was told there was a long line of cars and mine might not be finished that day. That put me in a difficult position. If the car was not ready and the rental had not been extended, I would either have had to pay out of pocket or work through insurance myself. Later that day, someone said they might be able to finish the car and would call me back. I did not hear anything until around 3 p.m., when I was told the car had been moved up and should be ready that day. That helped, but Gerber closes at 5 p.m., I live about 30 minutes away, and I had family and other commitments that evening. Earlier information would have mattered. At 4:30 p.m., I still had not heard whether the car was ready, so I called again. I was put on hold while Dennis checked. While I was on hold, Steve called from Gerber to tell me the car was ready. When I switched back to the original call, I was still on hold. After a couple more minutes, the line was picked up and disconnected without anyone speaking to me. Final cost difference When I picked up the car, I saw that the cost for one portion of the repair was about 20% higher than quoted. I do not recall receiving a call or update before the work was completed to let me know the price had changed. Overall, the staff were friendly. The communication and follow-through gaps made the experience more stressful than needed. My suggestions are to follow through on insurance submissions and updates, coordinate rental extensions earlier, give earlier notice when same-day pickup is likely, and notify customers before quoted costs change.

The repair quality itself was very good. My car looks brand new, everything looks great, and I appreciated that the car was cleaned inside and out. Because of that, I would consider recommending Gerber for the quality of the finished work. However, I would also warn a friend or colleague that my experience required a lot of follow-up. I had to call multiple times about the estimate being sent to insurance, did not receive the Tuesday/Thursday updates as expected, had to follow up about the rental extension, and received very late notice that the car was ready. So while the final repair appears excellent, the communication and process issues would make my recommendation cautious rather than strong.

The finished repair looks excellent, the car looks brand new, and I appreciated that it was cleaned inside and out. I have not had much time yet to see how everything holds up, and the overall process had communication issues, but the visible repair quality appears very strong.
Customer Service - 2.5/5.0 -
I would rate the customer service a 5/10. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and the woman at the front desk was especially kind and helpful. However, the overall customer service experience was frustrating because of repeated communication and follow-through issues. I had to call multiple times to get the estimate sent to insurance, the Tuesday/Thursday update schedule did not happen consistently, the rental extension was not proactively coordinated, and I received very late notice that the car was ready even though I live about 30 minutes away and Gerber was close to closing. I also was not notified before one portion of the repair cost came in about 20% higher than quoted. The people were kind, but the process made it difficult to plan and created avoidable stress.

There is something in the paint on the bumper. I can’t bring it back in right away. And they adjusted the climate control, radio and even the driver display while they did whatever. Since it was exterior repair and paint you tell me.

There is something in the paint. And my interior was adjusted. Climate control, my radio and my driver display were all changed. Since all repairs were to the exterior it’s confusing. And I’m still waiting to hear about my replacement sweat coaster that’s missing
