The repair work was good. However, my key was broken in the process. I mentioned it to Brad and he stated that the key is just old and that’s why it broke. The “jackknife” function of the key is what he is referring to. It no longer opens and closes. However, it worked perfectly fine before I left it with Gerber. It appears to me to have been bent or otherwise mishandled. I’m sure unintentionally, but someone knows what happened to that key. It is a replacement, and not the original so it is only 3-4 years old.
