I would not recommend this shop given the paint quality issue and the unsanitary condition of the vehicle when returned (a dead rat under the hood). The inability to reach anyone by phone to address these concerns has made the experience worse.

The paint job on the hood has visible swirl marks that will require additional paint correction and polishing. Far more seriously, a dead rat was left under the hood near the engine air intake when the vehicle was returned to me, causing a terrible odor that required professional detailing to resolve. Basic quality control should have caught this before the car was released to a customer.

I have called multiple times to speak with someone at this location, but I’m consistently routed to a national call center instead. I have not been able to reach the shop directly or get help resolving serious issues with my repair.

Gerber (Huron St location) is absolutely fantastic. Every staff member I chatted with was prompt and detailed and incredibly friendly. Irene kept me updated throughout the process and was fully transparent. I appreciated the detailed review at check in and a walk through of what work would needed to be completed. There were changes along the way and I was notified each time. The additional tracker website was helpful. Thanks for making a difficult situation that little bit easier and supportive.

I had a great experience, getting my car fixed from an accident where the damage wasn’t apparent on the exterior of the vehicle because someone backed into my license plate. They seamlessly talk to my insurance and got my car back to me within a week. They kept me updated and were very kind the entire time.
