Had my car for 3 days then told me I needed brakes when what my car needed was an Axel. The car was not safe to drive. I had to have e towed to a mechanic.

The conversation with Gator when I brought my car here was good. When I came back two days later to pick up my car everything was different. There was no receptionist at the desk. Gator came out from his office to help me. He was in a tense mood, upset not having anyone to help. He got my paperwork completed and I waited for my car. When I went out to view the repair to my car, I noticed there was a very visible paint drip. I pointed it out to Gator who said they could fix it within 15-20 minutes. 20 minutes went by and there was no car. I asked Gator what was happening. He went back to the shop to check. He came back and said 15-20 minutes more and it will be done. I said do you think it will turn out ok. He said in a very rude way "you can always come back" and disappeared into his office. Another person came out and asked if we've been helped. I said we've been here for 45 minutes waiting for our car to be re-repaired. She said I'll go back and check. She came back and said 15-20 minutes and it will be done. I told her we've already waited 45 minutes. She said she talked to the repair person and that's all she can do. So we waited...in the meantime time a person named Kevin came out of his office and said he overheard the conversation and wanted to offer his apologies for our long wait. I asked him why the car was presented to us with an obvious paint drip. He said it happens all the time and nobodies perfect. The issue here isn't our wait but the rudeness of the staff and the fact there was no quality control with our repair. That is the main job of any repair shop.

There was no communication about progress or completion date. We needed to keep reaching out. The initial delay was due to the insurance process but after that it took much longer than anticipated. It’s extremely difficult being without our car for that long. Shop hours are limited for pickup as well for those who work.

The experience overall was great and smooth.The problem is, I picked up my car on Tuesday and it has shut off twice with the check engine light coming on wild driving that has never happened before now.I have to call them and see what happened
