The shop managers (Mark and Paul?) were VERY accommodating, took my calls for inquiries /follow up and answered all my questions no matter how "simple" of a question I may have had.

Work looks great, but I had to replace my battery less than a week after getting the car back. Battery's only 16 months old, so timing seems suspicious.

I'm only rating a 5, because aside from all the other nonsense, I payed out of pocket to have my hood, roof and spoiler painted (it was sun bleached like crazy). They did a terrific job on that part of my car. They drove me home when I needed to leave my car there (a few times) so that's a plus. The shop is literally down the street from my house.

I got my car back and the side fenders were pushed into the front grill filler panel, so much so it was jabbing into it rubbing off the fresh coat of paint on both the side fenders and the grill panel. A quick google search of the year and make/model of my car would have pulled up many images of how this area is supposed to look. I was hit passenger side, whoever worked on my car pushed that part in way too much not only on the side being fixed, but on the driver side that was not, just to make it 'match'. Because of this I had to bring the vehicle back for it to be corrected. After picking it up again it did look better than it did when they first gave it back to me, but it is still incorrect. The side fenders should not be pushed in at all and should not be touching the front grill filler panel, but it still is and still is rubbing off paint, but after that being the 3rd time I had taken my car back to Gerber I decided to bite my tongue and just take my car back. Also, the bumper was about 1/4 inch lower than it was prior to accident, and because of this, I could see behind the bumper on the side where I was hit, and I could see damage from the impact still present and freshly painted over. I brought this to the attention of the person I was dealing with at Gerber, Paul (who is very nice) and he promised me he would look at it when the bumper was off (because the replacement bumper had rough sharp edges around the side reflectors, I assumed from the paint job, but was told that's how they get new bumpers. So rough if I ran my finger over it quickly it would break skin. that was NOT how my car was before the accident), but Im not sure if he forgot or what. He never showed me any pictures of the still damaged area behind the bumper and it is still that way now. To me it looks like they fixed the side fender, the bumper, but just painted over any dented metal behind it. Another note, after picking up my car the first time, that same day my passenger side front reflector fell off, which I showed them when I first dropped the car off. Seems it was just 'pushed' back into place even though it was obviously missing a clip or piece to hold it in place. There was alot of things wrong with my car when I picked it up, I had to bring it back to have them fixed, and I would say about 65% of what was still wrong was fixed.

The people there are very very nice, don't get me wrong. But I would have to call for status updates, even though I was emailed a message saying I would receive them via text or email(and told in person the day I dropped my car off as well). Dropped my car off on a Monday, and on SATURDAY after not hearing ANYTHING about my cars status, I called them and was met by 'Oh, no one has called you?' .. After getting that email saying I would get status updates as well as a survey, I got 4 more survey emails, but never a single status update one. Another thing, when I got my car back and needed to bring it back in because of the work done incorrectly, I would talk to one person who would tell me they would have Paul call me, yet days go by and no word from Paul. I would have to call again, and again had someone tell me they would have Paul call me. That was when I got fed up and called USAA trying to see if they would let me take my car to another shop. Apparently USAA called them right then and immediately I got a call from Gerber telling me I could bring my car in anytime, at my convience to have the work done right, if only someone had just said that to begin with... The person who works the phones and drives people home, she's very nice. I would rate my experience with just her a 10. The shop overall though, if not for her, would have gotten a 4.

The entire team at Gerber is very professional and has treTed me great from my very first call to Leslie Whitney. She was great and assisted me with a tow truck driver to get my car there. Anything that I have needed, she has been able to assist me with. A GREAT ASSET to you team!! Also Paul Barnard has been very helpful through the process explaining everything to me that my car would need. This is definitely a team that I could trust and would not hesitate to Tate my vehicle their again if needed. Thank you for everything!?

One of the best customer service hands down, but paint guys could use more experience or attention to detail.
