I came in expecting a decent patch-up job. What I got was a full-on automotive resurrection. While the big-name collision centers were busy upselling ceramic coatings and holding my car hostage for two weeks, this little neighborhood shop—let’s call them “David’s Garage”—was quietly outperforming giants. Their estimate was honest. Their team? Surgical. I watched them match my Honda Fit’s spray touch-up paint like they were restoring the Sistine Chapel, not fixing a fender. No bloated invoices, no mystery fees. Just craftsmanship and care. Goliath had the TV ads, glossy lobby, and an “approved vendor” badge. David had actual skill. And when the insurance overlords came knocking… David didn’t flinch. They tried to slash labor costs, push cheap aftermarket parts, and steer me to a ‘preferred provider’ where my bumper would be held together with hope and zip ties. But David went to war with the adjusters—armed with OEM part specs, state repair laws, and receipts that roared louder than any corporate spreadsheet. He wasn’t just fighting for a fix. He was fighting for fairness. And he won. My car wasn’t patched—it was restored. From start to finish they did a great job. They kept me updated every step of the way. When they finished my car, it was clean, the rims were shinned and the inside of my car was cleaner than I left it.

The part that was put on my front right door is not flush with the door and the door doesn’t look like a clearcoat was added. I also received my car back with a flat tire on the front right side driver tire.
