We just got the car back a few days ago and have not had a chance to really drive it much. At first glance it appears to be a nice job. For the most part the staff was very courteous and pleasant. They did get a little testy when I asked him to clarify a few of the dates. It became very apparent that the staff was under the impression that we were getting a rental car paid for by our insurance company.. they seem surprised when I told him it was costing us about $35 a out of pocket every day. In general this repair should have taken 3 or 4 days once the parts arrived.. no more. It ended up taking close to a month. Two weeks before the car was finished I was told the car was in final assembly. When I questioned it I was told that final assembly is just part of the shop and had nothing to do with the progress of the car.. hence my surprise when the information was given as a progress report. I was then told that most of the staff was on vacation and they were working with a skeleton crew. I completely understand that but makes me wonder why they booked the car knowing it would take a month to complete. They also told me they had two technicians working and they had over 80 cars waiting. Sounds to me like they're overbooked. It also sounds to me that priority is given to customers who they've loaned a car to.. only makes sense they need those cars back and if I have a rental car well then who cares how long it takes. I do because I'm paying $35 a day for that rental car. The insurance company only pays $20 of the rental and you can't rent a bicycle for that amount. After the fact I wish I had been told that they provide loaner cars. Would have saved me about $800.. Now I know that Northside collision is probably going to say we told you that it was going to take a month to make this repair once they had the car parked. That's true. It was a fairly straightforward replacement of parts. What they were doing was basically taking what the insurance company told them I would have rental coverage for and use that for the end date. In closing, it appears as though I got a good repair on the car keep in mind the car only had 1,300 miles on it. I was told there was a fair number of aftermarket parts used which is kind of alarming. In general the staff was courteous although I don't think they were very forthcoming at times. Mark the fellow that checked me out was outstanding. The facility is clean and very welcoming. They have water and coffee and a fairly comfortable waiting room. I would also recommend to anybody using this company that they watch the news interview that was given to the owner. He seems like a straightforward and honest guy and a good businessman. Best off he looks like a self-made man which I like. Now the 64,000 question would I use them again. The answer is probably. Not sure I would use them on a vehicle this new knowing they were going to fill it full of aftermarket parts. I would also ask them to provide a loaner and not use the rental car. I would also call around to a few shops and try to get a feel for how long a repair like this should take. One thing is clear it should never have taken a month to replace a couple of dozen parts on the front of a car and get it back to the customer.

No one ever wants to deal with car repairs but Northside made it as painless as possible. From the very beginning I was treated with respect and was frequently updated. The front desk personnel and adjusters were wonderful. I will highly recommend Northside to others.

All of the staff that I interacted with from the front desk, staff to the management staff and literally anyone I talk to there maybe feel confident in my repair was going to be done correctly and after looking at it, perfectly!! Where are my damage was on the door and on the back of the truck it looks brand new after you guys took care of it

You were very prompt and communicative. Like metioned before, I needed to have my interior detailed. Also when I received my car, my gas light was on and luckily there was a station across the street otherwise I wouldn't have made it to a gas station, it was that low.

Very communicative about location of my vehicle. 8 because when time to pick up my car, I only had 45 minutes to get there before closing and when I arrived, I learned you do no accept any form of card. I do not carry around my checkbook nor that large amount of cash needed.
