I would not recommend Valley Collision based on my experience. I dropped my truck off on March 3. The repair was delayed because of a backordered part, and I completely understood that wasn’t the shop’s fault. However, during those four months I was given approximately five different estimated completion dates, and every one of them changed with little communication. When I finally picked up my truck on July 1, I was shocked by the quality of the repairs. The truck had overspray dust all over the paint, visible masking lines, and incorrect parts installed. One of the most obvious mistakes was that my Ram RHO came with factory matte wheels, but they installed a gloss wheel as the replacement, which didn’t even match the rest of the truck. Even more concerning, I found that parts billed to my insurance were not actually replaced. A damaged part was still on the truck even though it was listed on the repair invoice, and I was also billed for a small piece of paint protection film (PPF) that was never reinstalled. After I spoke with the manager, Kenny, he acknowledged the problems, apologized, and told me he would order the correct parts. He assured me that once they arrived, the repairs would be expedited and only take a couple of days. Based on that promise, I brought my truck back on July 13. Today is July 23, and my truck is still not finished. I still have no estimated completion date and very little communication. I understand that delays happen, especially when parts are on backorder. What I don’t understand is waiting four months only to receive a truck with poor workmanship, the wrong replacement wheel, missing repairs, and items that appear to have been billed but not installed. Now my truck has been back at the shop for another 10 days with no end in sight. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better quality, communication, and accountability from a professional collision repair shop.
