I want to thank Liz for her professionalism and getting my car fixed right the first time. After giving Pacific Elite two times to fix the damage they could never t get it right. I liked the fact that she as the the manager dealt with me directly where as Even though I was having issues at Pacific Elite, the manger there (Alex)never showed me the time to resolve His shops issues. Caliber Alhambra has great customer service, follow up, professional staff, and know what they are doing. From office personal to the painters and detailers. Everything seemed to be fine. My car actually seemed to be riding smoother than before the accident. Unfortunately everything changed last night, 11/18/18. As I cleared the Grapevine and continued making my way to my sister's home in Paso Robles, I began hearing a loud, repeated thud. Making a long story short, I pulled over to the shoulder of the 5 Fwy. just south of Lebec. After some searching for the origin of the nouse I found nothing amiss but that changed when I looked under the car. What I observed was the undercarriage cover barely remaining attached to the undercarriage or chassis (I have photos). After learning my car had no jack or crow bar (I learned they're considered extras in some BMW models when reading the Driver's Manual) I tried to pry off the remaining piece of the cover with a cane I needed to walk prior to back surgery on 09/21/18.

After that proved to be an exercise in futility I decided to drive on the shoulder of the freeway to the next exit (219A). Once safely at the Shell Station off of said exit I had the good fortune to make the acquaintance of Jose Armando Celis, another traveler who was experiencing his own problems (flat tire, no spare). In short order Mr. Celis said he had the correct tools to make the necessary repairs which consisted of jacking up my car to a position that would allow him to crawl under the car, loosen the last two fasteners that kept the cover attached and pulled it away and then separated it from the vehicle. I also have photos of Mr. Celis being under my car and another photo of what's left of the cover. As Mr. Celis came to my aid in the midst if his own misfortune, placed his health and well-being at some risk by crawling far under my car while doing whatever necessary to remedy the problem (while likely ruining a nice dress shirt in the process), I wrote him a check for $150. In hindsight I should have made it $200 or $250. If it wasn't for his assistance I could still be sitting there
