The work quality was fine, just disappointed that even though we were willing to to pay for a few thousand dollars of extra work ourselves we were discouraged from doing so and not given an estimate.

The repair work and color match seem to be quite good and we appreciate that new OEM parts were used where it made sense. Unfortunately the OEM part quality was noticeably reduced from that of the original, but that was no reflection on Caliber and Caliber was very good in identifying the issue, clearly showing it to us, and offering to help to the extent possible.

The repair work seemed well done, and was completely paid by the other party’s insurance. However, we were a little disappointed that Caliber did not want to do some other touch up work that we were happy to pay for separately while the car was in the shop. We were not even given estimates for most of out requests and it was clear that we were being discouraged from paying for other work to be done. Consequently, we probably won’t return to Caliber for minor touch up work that we pay for ourselves, we will return to a different body shop our extended family has used with great success for decades.
