I was unhappy to be notified by the *car rental* people at 4pm that I needed to return the rental vehicle. I hadn't yet been told that the car repair was done! When I called the collision center to confirm, the person I talked to asserted he had called the day before. I said, "We had no messages on either of our phones?" The gentleman then said, "Well I called so whatever." That seemed less than polite or appropriate, given that we were then incredibly inconvenienced and had to utterly rearrange our schedule and child care to return the car rental without incurring an extra charge.
