Would warn them of the process and that an appointment doesn't mean the car gets worked on

The process of dropping off a car at the scheduled appointment time and then waiting "in line" for (what could be days ) even with the parts already in the shop isn't customer friendly. This means a customer with a drivable car either goes without a car for a week or two too longer than needed or forced to rent a car.
