I was not satisfied with my repair experience because I strongly feel I was overcharged and misled throughout the process. The total cost of repairs ended up being more than the value of my vehicle itself. Initially, I was quoted around $1.3k–$1.5k, but after dropping the car off, the estimate suddenly increased to around $2k–$2.1k. I only proceeded because my vehicle had been broken into and someone attempted to steal it, leaving me in a vulnerable situation without comprehensive insurance coverage. The representative made it seem as though the total would stay at $2.1k and even stated he would cover the $150 tint cost, which led me to believe my final total would remain around $2,000. Instead, I was shocked when the final bill came out to $2,350. When I expressed concern, I was told it was "only" about a $200 difference. To some people that may not matter, but to me, $200/$300 is significant. My monthly income is 2.4k!!! the amount I was charged for these repairs, so this increase has now directly impacted my ability to pay for my necessities like groceries and rent!!! What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of transparency and accountability. The representative attempted to justify the cost by mentioning things like a complimentary car wash and cleaning up the shattered glass. However, when I got home, my back seat was still covered in broken glass. The vacuuming clearly was not done, and much of the cleanup had already been done by ME! before the vehicle was even towed. Overall, I left feeling manipulated rather than helped during an already stressful situation. I do not feel the pricing or communication was honest or transparent, and I was very disappointed with both the customer service and repair experience. I do not wish to be contacted further unless it is regarding a partial refund.
