For Caliber, you’re just a number. They don’t care about your interests or what’s best for you. My car is relatively new, so I required an original (OEM) bumper, not an aftermarket one. The adjuster chose the easiest route: instead of pursuing the claim with the third party’s insurance, he passed the difference in cost for the OEM bumper on to me.

There is a slight color difference between the repaired rear bumper and the rest of the vehicle. It is worth noting that the front bumper was also repaired by Caliber (at a different location), and the paint matched perfectly with the rest of the car. In this case, however, there is a noticeable color difference, and the adjuster simply stated that this was normal and that there was no issue to be corrected.
