The car came back looking great, but I wish I got more updates before asking for them. I already spoke on the phone with Marcy, who helped me. But even if you all are going through a customer’s insurance, and you notice that there’s an x amount from the customer’s deductible that they will have to pay at the end of the day, I believe it’s important to update the customer. I was originally quoted $300 verbally by Marcy when I signed my authorization papers. After arriving home, I noticed it was actually $750. A few days later, it actually came out to $992. I called her on the phone to ask why, and she mentioned when they reached out to the dealer to order the parts needed to repair my vehicle, the price went up and they went ahead and ordered them without letting me know. I understand that the parts needed to be ordered anyways in order to fix my vehicle, but I wish Marcy/Caliber Collision would have called me to give me an update before ordering the parts. I lost my job and got my car stolen all in the same week. So I hope you all can imagine, especially living in this economy in one of the most expensive cities in the country, that it’s already hard enough as it is. I’m happy that my car came back brand new, but again I just wish I got more updates as my car was getting repaired.
