Everything that was done was done correctly. The only thing that I would give poor marks to is communication.

We had a car at the shop before, and had a very good experience

Dues to the lack of proper commutations I wouldn’t refer friends to this facility. The workmanship is good but the lack of communication was overly frustrating

Quality of workmanship was decent overall. They did have to replace inferior parts with OEM but paint work was good.

Mount Airy Collision was bought out by Caliber. On all accounts the work is always done and of quality, but the big issue that I’ve had on all occasions is the lack of communication and transparency. I’ve had 2 vehicles repaired there since 2022 and it’s always the same issue, no call backs or communication. I would always have to call them to get a status instead of them calling me as a service. One exception this last time I did receive one call of a part was in stock to replace.

The work (when finally done) was good. It just took entirely too long and the communication from caliber was not good.

The staff at Caliber are very friendly but there was no communication from their staff. I had to call for updates and even “nudge” staff to order a new part after an email from the insurance company was sent but the service manager hasn’t read it. I honestly don’t know when I would have gotten my car back had I not called consistently for updates.

I'm very satisfied with the work performed on my vehicle. Communication was excellent and professionalism was outstanding. I'll definitely be back if the need arises. Good job guys.

The repair was done well and the car looks great. We should have been updated when the ETA was around 2 weeks but after 3 weeks we didn’t hear anything. I emailed once and called 3 times before I was able to get any info. We’re fortunate enough to have a rental so I don’t care that it ended up taking 5 weeks or 6 weeks total. It should be standard practice to keep owners updated when there’s a delay. You don’t even have to call, send an email.

When I picked up the car after the repair was done, I was told that there was a gap in the between the bumper cover and the headlamp just on the driver's side, and it was the best that could be done because it was not an original part.

Its bullshit to schedule an appointment for an estimate, then schedule an appointment to drop off, and have to wait 3 weeks because no parts were ordered.

I have been coming here for many years and have always had a great experience. Until this last one. When my vehicle had its initial estimate, the estimator Emaual seemed to only hear things in my description he would not cover, instead of listening to what happened, and determining what would be covered by insurance and what would not. I mentioned I had a failing part that led to this gate damage, and I had been planning on replacing it. I was honest in what damage occurred to my vehicle, and explained that the motor was damaged from my stupid mistake. At this point, I feel Emanuel should have informed me of my options to fix the failing tension rod out of pocket, and from there assess the gate motor after the body work had been performed. If this combination of parts had been replaced upon completion of the body work, it would have been fixed months sooner. Emanuel refused to acknowledge my request on multiple occasions to have the motor looked at, and my vehicle was finally fixed in July. July! Totally unsatisfied with Emanuel’s communication. I should never be calling the shop more than the shop is contacting me. Repeated phone calls and messages left were unreturned. Jess, however, has always been great. As of now, I’m unsure if future needs can be met. My lift gate does work now, but screws or broken debris left behind within the gate rattle/move every time the gate opens/closes, and sounds like something is broken inside. So, do I just live with that 4 months later?

This company was formed to take advantage of stock market valuation by acquiring 1600 independent small shops and grouping together. The customer is suffering.

We schedule appointment weeks in advance. We even had to reschedule another few weeks out. We take car to location. After two weeks nothing is even looked at. They order parts wait another week and a half goes by. We look at car and they didn’t replace window. The car had a shield coming off the bottom rattling. They didn’t look at that and said is want part or related to accident or repair work. Now they have to order window and car has to go back for who knows how long. Caliber Collision sucks. Some big Wall Street venture capital fund goes and buys 1600 small shops because they think they can get a good valuation on the stock market. But they can’t deliver quality service to the customer. They already get paid by the insurance company no matter how crappy their work is. The the equity partners can get a huge payday when they sell. Sorry customers.
