The supplental estimate for my repair was approx 3x what my insurance had approved and included unnecessary work that was denied. This caused a 1 week delay before the repairs were even started. During the repair process, my vehicle was damaged further by Caliber peesonnel, both the windshield and driver's window were broken, the latter causing my pickup to be delayed another 3 days, and resulted in an additional out of pocket cost to me of approx. $90 for a car rental. While my advisor was out of office during the expected pickup date, I was told by 2 separate staff over the phone I would receive a call back later in the day with an estimated pickup time. Neither called when they said. Upon my final follow-up call, I was told the vehicle had suffered additional damage and wouldn't be available until Mon, with no explanation of what had happened. I missed a complete day of work while waiting, as the expectation was a pickup in the morning...then midday...then mid-aft. This is all enough to exhaust even the most patient of customers.
