I am not 100% sold on (not sure of the name) the expedited estimate concept. It seems that by having to drop the car off and then Caliber figures out what parts need to be ordered, there will always be a day or two of additional time that your car is out of your possession. If the car were not driveable, this scenario would be fine. If the car IS driveable, I don’t want the car to be out of my possession for any more days than are needed for the work. State Farm only pays $16/day for a rental with a $400 cap. There aren’t any rental cars for $16/day that I want to drive which means every day our vehicle is out of our possession costs us more $.
