We have been coming to Caliber Collision at various locations since we first got married back in the dinosaur days (the late 1990s). Our experience has always been good. If it wasn’t great, we would never have come back. This review is for Caliber Collision, 5252 Lovelock St in San Diego, August 2026. Our first time at this location - it is close to where we live, and close to our favorite rental car company. This is us. We are so old that we believe in PLEASE and THANK YOU as magic words. We believe that if you give a smile, you get one back. My husband will confirm that I am a bit of a perfectionist, and we are both happy to report that our experience at Caliber on Lovelock was flawless. Excellent work by professional, friendly, caring people. Our car (2014 Nissan Xterra Pro 4X) had an argument with a post in a parking lot. Even with no injuries, you know how stressful it can be, what with dealing with an insurance company, rental car, and worrying that something will inevitably go wrong. But we did not have to worry, because repairs were expertly done, and more quickly than originally promised. We were treated like royalty by everyone. Service advisor David Perez-Lopez is highly knowledgeable, communicated daily about how repairs were going (in fact, I never ONCE had to call their office). Best of all, he made sure that repairs were absolutely perfect. Then he returned our car to us earlier than promised, and looking beautiful - washed and shiny clean, inside and out — it looked almost detailed! Lots of repair shops want you to drop off your car, then it sits in their lot gathering dust while they order parts and practice that delay-delay tactic. NOT TRUE here. David gave us the estimate, we drove away, then he called us the minute parts were received so we could bring the car back to them. I really appreciate this because it indicates a respect for MY time and MY schedule. It just doesn’t get any better. Returning our rental car was a breeze because we did not have to! Christina (Caliber’s customer service rep) explained that I could leave the rental at Caliber, and Enterprise would come pick it up that same day. This saved me hassle and time, so I could get back to work. So, thank you from Rich and Dea to Christina, Beth (office manager), Daniel, and everyone in the service bay who touched our beloved 4X. I hope we will never need your services ever again, but when - LOL - we do, we will be back to Caliber on Lovelock Street.

My experience with Caliber Collision started when I checked in. The friendly receptionist who guided me through the steps and introduced to me to Marcos. Marcos kept me informed every step of the way. After my car repairs were completed I was amazed at the beautiful work. It was as if the damage never happened. I have been very pleased by the service and the repair work. Thank you all so very much!!!
