A discussion was had a drop off about not replacing a damaged side step because it would be replaced by an aftermarket e-step once Caliber competed the body repairs. The vehicle was transferred to another due to availability and the message was not communicated to the second shop resulting in the step getting replaced anyway. The vehicle was also very dusty inside and out when returned, the inside had been detailed prior to drop off so it was obvious this was from sitting uncovered in the shop.
