But only this particular shop. We’ve had cars there three times, but only this last time was a vehicle repairable. They are helpful, caring, and polite. I can’t speak for any other Caliber Collision shop.

They did not skimp on quality at all. When aftermarket and used parts did not pass their quality inspection, new factory parts were ordered. Although this took more time, it was greatly appreciated. Upon pickup, there was an issue with a loose side view mirror cover and a smudge on the new fender, but both were taken care of promptly at pickup. I did later find an issue with what looked to be the beginning of a rat nest in my engine. I found cardboard scraps and rodent droppings on my engine block. Not sure how that got there. We had our mechanic inspect for damage and other evidence and there was none. We cleaned the debris out of the engine block ourselves. Our car was with the body shop for five weeks being worked on and sitting there waiting for adequate replacement parts. Communication was good at the beginning, but the longer it was there, the more we had to initiate contact. Projected completion date was 5/6/26, but final repairs and cleanup was complete on 5/26/26, 20 days later. Care in quality was taken and car looks good! No body shop smell either.

As mentioned before, communication was good at the beginning with texts. However, the longer the car was there, the more we had to call and find out what was going on. Found it was best to ask for your POC rather than whoever answered the phone. I was literally told that once our car moved to the “tire shop”, it was out of their hands. This was Joe. It made us wonder where our car was at that point and who it was with. This was during the fourth week of repairs. We were unaware there is an auto mechanic next door as our car had been towed there after the accident. The body shop held up their end renegotiating the necessary quality parts to make the repairs right. Even including a last minute part necessary at the tire shop when the wheels would not align.
