From the initial phone call regarding our vehicle repair to the scheduled pick up, we found the service at Caliber Collision to be top notch! Amy was not only very thorough in explaining the process but she was very personable as well. Such an adorable individual! The establishment was clean, neat and well organized. Everyone we encountered was kind and polite. The service time frame was exceptional! I highly recommend this place of business.

I would just give the friend a heads-up about the lack of communication on the day the vehicle is supposed to be ready so they can call and check on their own earlier in the day.

I had been told that my vehicle would be ready for pickup on 7/3. That day came around and no communication all day. Finally I looked up Caliber Collision Ypsilanti and hit Dial and called them. The lady was very pleasant and helpful and looked up my vehicle, a 2020 Chevy Trax, and told me that they were still waiting for delivery of a baffle, that it was verified as out on the truck for delivery, and when it got there it was a 30 minute-ish job, then a clean and wash and it'd be ready. She also said that the tech working on my vehicle had just left for a late lunch but she would give him my message and have him call me when he got back from break. No sweat. I notice that it's getting close to 5:00PM and I hadn't heard from anyone so I called back. When I explained who I was and that my vehicle was supposed to be ready yada yada yada, you understand. She sounds very confused because she told me she heard the tech call me. I confirmed again that I hadn't heard from anyone. The lady looked my vehicle up again and said yes, it was going to be ready. Then she asked the magic question: Is this under so-and-so (name)? I said no, my name is Mark Gebhart and spelled my last name because everyone always asks me to spell it. She sounded even more confused than before because she couldn't find my vehicle in the system. I start to panic and get mad and said "where is my vehicle." The lady was just as confused as I now was and she started asking a few questions. Bingo! I was talking with the shop on Carpenter Road! My vehicle was at the shop on Michigan Ave! I just started laughing because how could you not. What are the odds that both Caliber Collision shops in Ypsilanti had a 2020 Chevy Trax that was due for delivery that day! It was (and still is) hysterically funny! The lady started apologizing for the confusion and explained that the computer systems are independent of each other. This is really dumb. While I found/find great humor in the mix-up, the entire situation would have been avoided had your systems "talk" with each other. I then called the correct shop and explained who I was and my car is a 2020 Chevy Trax blah blah blah and said that I hadn't heard from anyone and my vehicle was supposed to be ready for pickup that day. The guy told me that no, my vehicle was not ready to be picked up. I then had to call Enterprise to see what I could do because I was supposed to turn the loaner vehicle in that day but I just found out that my vehicle wasn't ready and so I needed to keep the loaner for a few more days. The lady there was very understanding and understood why I was upset (it was right before they closed for the holiday). She let me know that they were going to be open on Saturday so she would just extend my loaner till Saturday and then I went in and re-rented it. All SO unnecessary, if only your computer systems weren't so out of date. I highly suggest that the systems be integrated as quickly as possible to avoid the granted very rare situation would happen again. It would also help people like me who unknowingly called the wrong shop. That and the absolutely ZERO communication regarding the delay in my vehicle's completion is the reason I gave you a 7. Honestly it would have been lower had not the lady at the Carpenter Road shop been so very pleasant and then sincerely apologetic. I did let her know that an apology really wasn't necessary because what are the odds?!
