I am often looked to for recommendations from customers to friends and family. I don't know how my experience could have been worst

I dropped off my car on April 28th. I had a crack on my bumper after a very low speed fender bender in a parking lot. I was told I would get a call that afternoon with an estimate of when my car would be done. Finally on Wednesday morning I called to check the status. They told me everyone was out and that they would call me back at the latest after lunch. At 4:30 I called having not received an update. They told me I should be able to pick up my car Friday morning. I called Friday morning to confirm my car was ready. They said that that it wasn't ready but that at 2pm it would be ready. I got there at 1:55pm. My car wasn't even close to ready. At after 40 minutes of sitting in the lobby I told them I would be back in a few minutes so that I could turn in my rental. After I got back I continued to wait. Finally at 3:15 my car came out from being washed. We walked around the car and saw that while repairing the bumper the side panel was dented. I gave them back the car and had to fight my insurance so that they would rent me another car. I expected a call that evening with an ETA. I didn't get one. On Monday at noon a gave up and again called in to get an ETA. I was told they didn't have one but would call me... On Tuesday I got a call that they replaced the tail light because it broke while they removed the back panel and that it should be read Wednesday after noon. I call Wednesday to confirm and was told it wasn't ready but that they hope to have it by the end of the day. At 5pm I got a call to pick up my car. I went out to get it and this time it was outside waiting for me. I walked the car and noticed that they replaced the tail light with a different color tail light so I had one tail light with a silver border and one with a red border. I went in to talk to a manager and learned he was on vacation. A lady came out who said she was the regional manager. She saw the problem, took pictures and told me that they would order the right tail light and come to my work to replace it. On Thursday I received a call that the tail light was in and early Friday morning they came to install it. This many issues is not a sign of a mistake or of a bad employee. The only cause to this many issues is a deficiency in management. Proof of which is once the regional manager got involved everything went according to what was promised.
