The work was not completed on my first visit to Fix auto Berkeley. I needed my side mirror replaced and was given a bid of $721.58 The stem of the mirror was still attached to the car; I needed the housing replaced. When I arrive to pick up my car, the bottom section of the housing was not on the mirror. I think that the wrong part was ordered. I was asked to pay another $400 but we settled on $200. It was explained to me from the beginning that the mirror probably wouldn’t be able to be adjusted from inside the car. That’s not the problem. In total now I have spent $921.58. Which was not the original bid. It was my understanding that the original bid was to replace the housing so that it looked the way it did when I purchased the car. The work was supposed to be completed that day, but I had to come back.

Danielle is extremely courteous and keeps in touch with the customer however, I think that she ordered the wrong part because the mirror housing was not completed on the first visit as we discussed at the time of the initial meeting. I came to the shop, asking for my side mirror to be replaced and I was given a bid. And told the work would probably be done in 1 and day why I didn’t want part of the mirror housing replaced. I wanted the entire piece replaced and that is what we talked about.
