What I am dissatisfied about is not the work done-it looks great, but the fact that it sat in the shop for a week prior to being repaired. It would be better if the customer is given a reservation for the start date and then bring the car there on the start date or the day before.

What I found both most irritating and disappointing is that the car sat for a week on your lot without any work being done. If the problem is that it is your policy not to order necessary parts until after the car is on the lot, you should inform the customer. 30 days is a long time for a rental that probably increases everyone's auto insurance costs.
