Completed the repairs fast but forgot to put the top weather strip back onto my car which I was able to remind them about before driving away. I however didn’t notice that they left around 1/4th of the damage still there.

G & C Auto Body in Oakland gets top rating in all areas that truly matter. Never thought I would find myself composing a review like this, and yet here we are. Despite circumstances that led us to Oakland G & C Auto Body, we are pleased and grateful for the excellent customer service and swift repair of damages to the front & rear end of our 2019 Kia Soul. The staff are courteous, welcoming, knowledgable, responsive, professional. The shop is well kept and clean. The front office receptionist greets each person warmly with a smile and an offer of water or coffee while waiting. This rang true with all staff we encountered. My first impression led me to ask for a quote to repair the front fender in addition to damages caused by another driver rear-ending us in stopped traffic. The whole experience was seamless, from the quick drop-in to survey damages to completion of the work in less than 3 days. The initial assessment was thorough, straight forward, easy to follow. Both estimates are detailed with a line-item break down of each charge including where parts were searched for and sourced. Unobtrusive progress update texts and responses to our questions or concerns were prompt, transparent, succinct. G & C Oakland was up front about costs and time needed for repairs including discovery and replacement of the rear impact bar. The total repairs took 2.6 days. G & C Auto Body in Oakland provided stellar customer service, straightforward up-front estimates and progress updates, detailed billing invoices, and remarkable high quality workmanship. We are extremely happy with the repairs, and excellent service we received. The quality of work, the shiny polished clean repairs brings a smile to the person that matters most. Thank you G & C Oakland for demonstrating there are honest, reputable businesses invested in providing down home customer service & top tier quality work in our community. The one hitch encountered was with the rental car company arranged by our insurance company. Yikes. Thank you G & C. Truly, above and beyond.
