I was told two things that were untrue . First I was told that the neighbors insurance company had told Gerber that my neighbor had acknowledged liability when I got the repair estimate from them on the spot..I knew it was Not True as I had just spoken to the neighbors insurance company person handling my claim, and when I told Gerber estimate person this , they disputed it and asked if he could start the repairs...I told him I would get back to him After calling the insurance claims person to verify the acknowledgement of liability. The look on his face clearly showed he was caught in a lie. I left Gerber and called the insurance claim rep, and No, liability had not been admitted by ther member yet. Second, when dropped off car for repairs, the person who gave me the estimate told me the repair would be done in one to two days....it took one week. Note, there were No vehicles in the shop being worked on when I dropped off my car...as I walked through the shop area with this person, so why lie..? Third, I called twice to check on readiness post waiting the two days, and was told that on Tuesday and Thursday they call with repair status to customers, so I would get a call. I dropped my car off on the Monday morning, called on Wednesday, never got a call or text with repair status on Tuuesday or Thursday. Why the lies? And I have insurance coverage, so my policy would have been liable if I had believed the Gerber person about admitted liability by my neighbor when it was not true....they just want your money for repairs before you know who is really paying for it because they do not care.

The cost of the repair seemed suspiciously higher than necessary once the technician knew we had received a check based on worst case scenario the smaller repair suddenly was 1/2 the cost
