To have scheduled the repair and to have it sit there with no communication at first for 9 days, I would have greatly preferred to be able to use my vehicle during that time versus to to be without a car. I looked to the link Gerber sent me the first day it was dropped off and multiple times a day after that for communication, but it didn’t change during that time, which is why I called. I would have appreciated if you had communicated with me that you would not be getting to even start the car for that amount of time since I had to make other arrangements to get to work. In my opinion that’s a great opportunity for improvement. The repair work looked satisfactory when I picked it up. Thank you.

I picked up my vehicle and the body repair initially looked good. I had mentioned the concern about the ac not functioning after the accident when the car was dropped off. It was noted. When I picked up the vehicle I was assured the ac was working when I specifically asked. The ac does not work. I called the shop to notify. I drove it for 20 min. Or so after leaving thinking it might kick on. It did not and summer is rapidly approaching. I live 30 min. From Gerber and had a rental for over 2 weeks. My only option now due to the job not being completed is to take the car somewhere to have the front end dismantled, which I will likely have to pay for out of pocket per insurance. I will likely need another rental which only gives me a few additional days on this claim, not necessarily enough time to rip the car apart. This is another additional expense on top of the 500 just spent on the deductible and 200+ for the rental car. I am incredibly disappointed as I specifically mentioned this issue prior to the repair and it was not addressed and fixed. 3 revised estimates and the concern still wasn't addressed. Because of this, it will cost more time and money that I don't have. This should have been addressed in the 2+ weeks the car was in Gerber's possession.
