Gerber serves as a “general contractor” for the repair, they do little of the work themselves and rely on subcontractors for anything other than body work. This is not disclosed up front. My initial 3 week quote turned into 5 weeks because of late discovery of damage, part issues and subcontractor delays. One of the suns caused a 4 day delay because they didn’t diagnose the issue correctly and then struggled (their words) to out the car back together due to lack of experience. Gerber sends text updates that contain very little information; one day I called and texted to get more info, probably called 6 times one afternoon and never had anyone pick up the phone (Issaquah location). The next day when someone finally answered and I shared my frustration they said “I was on vacation and when I’m not here no one answers the phone”. All in all a horrible experience and I will never return to Gerber
